Many football pundits expect Chelsea to sign a potent striker in the summer following their poor goal-scoring form this season.
Two main names have been reported in various newspapers, and Tableaus of being on Chelsea’s transfer list for a striker in the summer. Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney are the two names reported as Chelsea targets for the summer.
Both players are destined for a big-money move in the summer. Victor Osimhen was linked to a winter move to Chelsea before the AFCON championship.
Victor Osimhen fired Napoli to their Italian Serie A League title in 33 years, scoring 26 goals and winning the top goal scorer in the Serie A. Top European clubs are expected to bid for the Nigerian forward in the summer.
Former Chelsea and Arsenal defender William Gallas has praised Victor Osimhen and claims he has qualities similar to Chelsea Legend Didier Drogba and will be perfect for the Premier League.

He said via Genting Casino: “I think they will sign Victor Osimhen in the summer.
“I don’t know Victor that well as a person, but he’s similar to Drogba. Didier was so strong but with Osimhen, he is also very quick.
“I’m sure he’ll do a lot of damage in the Premier League.
Gallas also added that Chelsea needs to get rid of some of their first-team players if they want to avoid future FFP sanctions.
He added: “Chelsea have so many players and that is a problem. They need to sell players because it’s a mess at Chelsea at the moment.
“I don’t know a lot about their financial situation, but they need to figure out which players should stay and which players should leave.
“In the Premier League, some clubs loan in players to replace players they have sold for more mone,y but when you look at the situation with Enzo [Fernandez] and [Moises] Caicedo, they bought them for £100m, how much can they sell them for? Not much!”
The former Premier League defender added that Conor Gallagher is a Chelsea boy, and it is unlikely Chelsea will see him follow London rivalry with Tottenham in the summer.
He continued :” Gallagher is a Chelsea boy so I don’t think there’s any way he’ll go to Tottenham.
“If he’s from Chelsea’s academy, he’ll want to stay and fight for his place at Chelsea.”
There are reports that Romelu Lukaku could return to Chelsea next season after his loan spell at Roma. Ivan Toney is also a player Chelsea follows after the 27-year-old said in an interview that he is open to a big-money move in the summer.
