Donald Trump during the campaign trail: The path taken by the former president before the 2024 election

In November 2022, Trump declared his intention to run for president again, and he began his campaign.

The 2024 election campaign is well underway, with contenders for president putting up great effort to win over the American people. Former President Donald Trump has been speaking at events and rallies across the nation to capture the public’s support ever since he declared his intention to seek a second term in office in November 2022. He initially ran against other candidates for the Republican nomination.

Trump has addressed a wide range of issues that will be on Americans’ minds in 2024 throughout his speeches this election season, including the economy, immigration laws, and abortion rights.

During their own campaigns, a number of Republican presidential candidates, including Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and Chris Christie—who recently withdrew from the race—spoke negatively about the previous president.

Trump has faced a lot of legal issues during this campaign run with the four criminal indictments he faces. This covers the Jan. 6 election tampering case as well as a lawsuit involving secret records.

A significant portion of Trump’s 2024 campaign has been centered on states like Iowa and New Hampshire, which host the nation’s first caucus and primary, respectively.
