A South Carolina Man arrested for threatening a judge by saying, ‘I’ll rip your face off.’

According to officials, a man from South Carolina was arrested and charged with sending threatening emails to a judge.

Between December 30 and January 19, suspect, David Matthew Zwicker, 36, sent nine separate emails to the judge with no honest purpose except to cause a person to “suffer mental or emotional stress,” according to an affidavit. One email sent to the judge on January 14 read, “I’ll rip your face off.”

On Friday, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division announced, that David was charged with threatening the life, person, or family of a public official, intimidation of court officials, harassment in the second degree, and unlawful communication.

David Matthew Zwicker was booked into the Spartanburg Detention Centre.
